Nietzsche, Friedrich
(born on October 15, 1844 in Röcken / died on August 25, 1900 in Weimar)
Friedrich Nietzsche was a German philosopher and philologist. He is famous for
developing an original criticism of western culture, which includes western
metaphysics, rationalism, religion, dualism, nihilism, moral and political values
like democracy, socialism or egalitarianism. His process consists of
deconstructing big guiding ideas that organise western culture, with concepts like
the will to power, Dionysian forces, the Übermensch (superman) and eternal
return.
